Backstory
Bretz had a rather spoiled childhood. His family may not have been rich, but he was treated like a prince. He only got the best toys, best clothes, best everything. He had a passion for sports, playing baseball and rugby. He also, being an ice type, loved snow. He liked hiking and always dreamed of finding an Articuno. His obsession was formed in the shape of an ice pick along with the sports equipment his parents had bought for him. This started to take a toll on their finances, and being an ungrateful brat, he only demanded more when his parents didn't have a leg to stand on. He decided to let it go after realizing it was futile, but he began shunning his parents. Little did they know, they created something horrible.

Bretz spent his time trying to be a kind of player, trying to hook up with as many people as he possibly could. Gender never mattered to him and he was very open about his pansexuality. Didn't give a shit about what you thought you were, if he could get you under his arm, it was a victory. This had started in his late teens and continued on to his adulthood. He took jobs as a waiter at fancy restaurants, since he found nicer babes to score there compared to a rag-tag little shop. However, it only led to one-night stands. He never stayed long and it caused lots of problems for the people he charmed. He never cared. He continued on, only having a few actual friends he spent time at clubs with. He had a goal in mind, but apathy made it difficult for anyone to want to be near him. He just checked off the list. Another day, another score.

His friends began to tire of him, getting him drunk enough one night to propose a dare. Go to Mount Massive Asylum and see if you can last a night there. Bretz accepted, knowing next to nothing about the asylum itself and figuring it was just abandoned. He made his way the next night, creeping his way through the gate and heading inside. He couldn't believe what he had witnessed occurring.

Inmates eating each other.

Blood.

Bretz was furious his friends had tricked him into this. It's like one big horror movie. Was this even real? Did they plan on killing him? He only clenched his pick and hoped he could get out alive.

Personality
Bretz is a flirt, nonetheless. He would do anything to get you swooning. But he would have no connection to you. He is quite apathetic, could care less if you were angry, upset, etc. If it's not his feelings, it's not his problem. It contributes to his selfishness. 

He's also very vain and narcissistic. He believes he's the shit, no matter what. 

If he knows you well enough (and likes you), the apathetic barrier wears off a little bit, and he may help you. However, he only can really give a pat on the back in a situation he needs to comfort. Everything else would be faux, and he would rather be honest with someone he likes.
